Corbin Russwin 3070-178-6 613 LFIC Rim Housing InstructionsCorbin Russwin 3070-178-6 613 LFIC Rim Housing offers a robust solution for your locking needs, featuring a 6-pin design and a 1-7/8" tailpiece with a stylish oil-rubbed bronze finish. Crafted from solid brass, this interchangeable core mortise and rim housing is specifically designed to accommodate Corbin Russwin's 8000 Series Interchangeable Cores, available in both 6 and 7-pin configurations. The core's rekeying convenience is a standout feature, allowing non-technical personnel to easily rekey locks without removing hardware from the door. This efficiency is particularly beneficial in high-traffic environments such as office buildings, hotels, schools, and hospitals, where time and cost savings are essential over the building's lifespan. All operational keys, including change, master, and grand master keys, function normally, while a special control key is used for rekeying, operating at a separate shear line to facilitate core removal and installation. Additionally, temporary construction cores can enhance security during initial phases. With a limited one-year warranty and made in the USA, the Corbin Russwin 3070-178-6 LFIC Rim Housing combines durability and functionality, making it an excellent choice for commercial applications where reliability is paramount.

Interchangeable cores like this save time and money over the life of a building.
Rekeying can be done by non-technical personnel without removing hardware from the door. When used system wide, IC provides tremendous rekeying convenience. When planned from the inception of a system, IC cylinders can be integrated with conventional cylinders.
IC is recommended for virtually all types of keying systems, such as office buildings, hotels, schools, hospitals and universities. When used in exit devices and other installations which are labor intensive to rekey, IC saves time and money over the life of the building.
All operating keys (change, master, grand master) operate the lock normally. To rekey, use the special control key. The control key operates at a separate shear line in certain chambers within the core. Only the control key is required to remove and install a core.
Cores are available in 6-pin (standard), 7-pin, security and Pyramid.
Corbin Russwin recommends temporary construction cores for greater security. Special construction master keying is also available, when planned from the inception of the keying system.
Concealed Key Control (CKC) is available for all Corbin Russwin cores.
