Folger Adam 310-4-1-F-12D-613 310-4 Series Vertical Surface Mounted Electric Strike, Oil Rubbed Bronze
The 310-4 vertical surface mounted series is designed for heavy duty applications on single or double doors. The all stainless steel construction of this device makes it ideal for high abuse applications. This line of electric strikes will accommodate rim exit devices with a swinging, Pullman style latchbolt.
Note: Double-door models are available with 4 different center-to center dimensions between latchbolt keepers. Keepers are wide enough to compensate for vertical-rod exit bolts which may be as much as 3/8" off center-to-center dimension, either way.
When using an electric strike in conjunction with a vertical-rod device, it is necessary that:
The bottom rod of the exit device be removed or made inoperative
The latchbolt of the exit device be the "Pullman" or beveled type
The latchbolt be free-latching and remain projected while the door is open. Mechanisms that hold the latchbolt retracted while the door is open, and automatically release it when the door is closed, must be removed or made inoperative
Folger Adams is the most trusted name in high security locks and electric strikes. As part of HES, they manufacture the strongest and most reliable electric strikes available. Their series of strikes offer a blend of features so you can find the strike you want.
The 700 Series is designed for the most abusive and extreme heavy duty applications. It has an all stainless steel construction that has a 3 hour fire rating. You can get these same features in the 742 series which accommodates all major cylindrical locks up to a 3/4” throw.
Even the 310 series has all stainless steel construction and is 3 hour fire-rated. This line of industrial electric strikes needs to be ordered for the right length of latchbolt throw, and can accommodate a 1” deadbolt that must be operated manually to open the door. The series is available in 6 finishes.
Folger Adams also has industrial electric strikes that fit double door applications and electric strikes for vertical surface mounting. This style will operate with rim exit devices with a swinging, Pullman-style latchbolt. The series has the some all stainless steel construction as other Folger Adams electric strikes.
