These thresho-sills are designed specifically for the prehung door market.
Pemko’s adjustable sills are a marvel among residential sill applications. By allowing for compensation for uneven door bottoms and sub-sill level changes, these adjustable sills no long require additional shimming like more traditional thresholds. The adjustable sills are only available with a five-degree bevel, however, the versatility of the adjustable sill makes up for any compensations made for that restriction.
These all-aluminum products are weather resistant and guaranteed to hold up to rain, snow, or extreme heat. They are coated to resist rust and high temperatures, and their five-degree bevel creates a better seal on an uneven surface to resist water penetration. By angling the sill away from the threshold, the adjustable sill allows for maximum efficiency in resisting influxes of water as well as protecting the efficiency of your insulation due to uneven depth or breadth.
In addition, the variety of finishes available on the products do not leave you feeling as if you are limited in the variety of choices you have. The adjustable sills come in a mill-finish with a double aluminum center, bright dip-gold anodized aluminum, dark-bronze anodized aluminum, and satin-nickel anodized aluminum.
