To initiate communication, users simply pick up the handset, select one of the four channels, and press the PAGE button. The called party can easily respond by pressing the lit LED channel button. Installation is straightforward, utilizing seven non-twisted, low capacitance wires, allowing for a maximum wiring distance of 1,700 feet with 22 AWG wire and up to 4,000 feet with 18 AWG wire. For a complete setup, the optional 12" checkstand pedestal (MC-S12) is available.
