Alarm Lock Systems Inc AL-IME2-EXP-POE Gateway Expander Generation 2 extends the coverage range for your AL-IME2 and AL-IME3 lock systems, providing enhanced security with Power Over Ethernet capabilities. This advanced expander interfaces smoothly with your PC network using a hardwired Ethernet connection, supporting up to seven expanders, each capable of extending the coverage area by approximately 100 feet. With a clear field range of up to 500 feet between the Gateway/Expander and locks, this expander is designed for optimal performance in various environments. Inside buildings, you can expect typical ranges from 75 to 175 feet, depending on construction materials. The AL-IME2-EXP-POE features a modern design with three LED indicators that seamlessly blend into any decor. The expander operates within a wide temperature range, from -20° to 60°C (-4° to 140°F), ensuring reliability under various conditions. It supports cutting-edge software for centralized programming and database management via Alarm Lock DL-WINDOWS, with optional integration into Lenel OnGuard® or Continental CardAccess® systems. Gateway Expander Generation 2, Extends Coverage Range of AL-IME2 and AL-IME3- Power Over Ethernet Version

The Trilogy® Networx™ AL-IME2 Generation 2 Gateway, interfaces Networx locks with a PC network via a hardwire Ethernet connection. It is very similar in function to the original hardwired Networx Gateway Modules, but is enhanced with additional extended potential range, supporting up to seven (7) Expanders (Model AL-IME2-EXP Expanders Each Expander can extend the AL-IME2 Gateway's coverage area by approximately 100 feet. (See range specs, at below.) Also both Generation 2 Gateways and matching Expanders have a new modern styling, and three LED indicators, blending into any decor.
