C.R. Laurence 7060 Light Duty 90 Hold Open Overhead Concealed Closer Body Only offers an ideal solution for replacing worn closers without the need for unnecessary hardware. Engineered to be interchangeable with all Jackson® style overhead concealed door closers, this model allows for flexibility in your selection process. With 20 models available, you can customize your closer by adding specific accessories such as pivots and arms to meet your project requirements effectively. This closer features independent adjustment valves, enabling precise control over both closing and latching speeds. The special retaining rings prevent adjustment valve screws from loosening, ensuring reliable performance. Designed for doors weighing up to 200 lbs and accommodating widths of 42" for exterior and 48" for interior applications, it is suitable for various door types, including aluminum and hollow metal. Each unit comes conveniently packaged with mounting clips, templates, and instructions, facilitating a straightforward installation process. The C.R. Laurence 7060 is UL listed and backed by a 5-year limited warranty, providing peace of mind and assurance of quality. For optimal performance, it is recommended to use an auxiliary floor or overhead door stop to prevent damage from over-extension.

There are two advantages to buying our Door Closer Bodies with Mounting Clips. The first is if you are only replacing a worn out Door Closer, you will reduce your costs by not purchasing unnecessary hardware. The second is that by adding accessories you can get a Door Closer with the exact accessories you need for the job you are doing. Just select a Door Closer and add the different accessory parts (Pivots, Arms, etc.) you need to create the Door Closer package of your choice. Each Door Closer Body comes packaged with Mounting Clips, Templates, and Instructions.


Independent Adjustment Valves
Non-Critical valve control adjusts both Closing Speed and Latching Speed independent of each other.

Special Retaining Rings Prevent the Adjustment Valve Screws from being backed all the way out of the Door Closer Body.

NOTE: An auxiliary floor or overhead door stop is recommended to prevent possible damage to both the door closer and entry way due to over-extension of maximum allowable door swing.
