C.R. Laurence 8762A 90 No Hold Open Adjustable Spring Power Overhead Concealed Door Closer "A" Package offers a reliable solution for ensuring smooth door operation while meeting A.D.A. Opening Force requirements. Designed for doors ranging from 36" to 42", this closer is adjustable, allowing for a spring tension ranging from a minimum of 8-1/2 lbs. to accommodate various site conditions. The package includes a complete assembly with mounting clips, a Type "A" End-Load Arm, and a "DP" Adjustable Dual-Purpose Bottom Pivot Set. Its independent, dual-action valves enable precise control over both closing and latching speeds, ensuring customizable performance. Designed for standard 1-3/4" x 4" or larger extrusions, the closer is UL Listed and built from durable aluminum, making it suitable for aluminum and hollow metal doors. With a maximum door weight capacity of 200 lbs. and compatibility with a top rail depth of 1", this closer is ideal for heavy-duty applications. Note that an auxiliary door stop is recommended to prevent over-extension damage. The CRL Adjustable Spring Power Overhead Concealed Door Closer is available to meet A.D.A. Opening Force requirements. Available as a body only with mounting clips to retrofit existing non-adjustable door closer installations, and as complete packages that includes the Door Closer, Mounting Clips, Type "S" Side-Load Arm or Type "A" End-Load Arm, and a "DP" Adjustable Dual-Purpose Bottom Pivot Set or "GE" Pivot Set. The Door Closer has independent, dual-action valves to control closing and latching speeds. Both 90 and 105º Hold Open and No Hold Open models are available. Door Closer Bodies fit into standard 1-3/4" x 4" (44 x 102 mm), or larger, extrusions. Door Closers with different spring sizes or hardware options are available.


Adjustable Spring Power
Allows adjustment of spring tension from a minimum of 8-1/2 lbs. opening force to a medium spring size to accommodate site conditions and requirements.

Independent Adjustment Valves
Non-Critical valve control adjusts both Closing Speed and Latching Speed independent of each other.

Special Retaining Rings
Prevent the Adjustment Valve Screws from being backed all the way out of the Door Closer Body.

NOTE: An auxiliary floor or overhead door stop is recommended to prevent possible damage to both the door closer and entry way due to over-extension of maximum allowable door swing.
