Crafted from a synthetic rubber polymer known as Siloxane, this seal demonstrates excellent flexibility and memory, ensuring a reliable fit over time. With a temperature range spanning from -100°F to 500°F, it remains flexible even in extreme conditions, making it ideal for various environments. This flame and moisture-resistant seal is specifically recommended for areas utilizing FM200 or Halon Fire Suppression Systems, ensuring enhanced safety. It is BHMA Certified to ANSI/BHMA A156.22 performance standards for heat, cold, and smoke infiltration, providing peace of mind in fire-rated applications. Measuring 1/2" wide by 5/16" tall, the self-adhesive design includes a modified acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive that offers high initial adhesion and long-term holding power. The seal is also resistant to aging, weather, UV radiation, and various chemicals, ensuring durability and longevity.
