OSSI MC-MLC-16R I/O Control Panel offers a sophisticated solution for managing security systems with utmost efficiency. This smart programmable logic controller (SPLC) is designed specifically for controlling system outputs, featuring a robust design that ensures continued operation regardless of the system's overall condition. With 16 Form C relay outputs, the MC-MLC-16R can be triggered by various system events or peer-to-peer commands from other controllers, enhancing its versatility. The device supports user-definable ladder logic programming, allowing professionals to tailor operations to specific application needs. Its integrated Lonworks communications protocol accommodates up to 126 controllers on a single trunk line, while connection options include serial, fiber, and Ethernet adapters, reducing installation costs significantly. The panel's standalone processor features flash memory for program storage and a real-time clock for time-based operations. Operating within a temperature range of -20°C to 65°C (-4°F to 150°F), it is built to endure diverse environmental conditions. Additionally, the removable screw terminals support up to 14 AWG wiring, facilitating seamless integration into existing systems. Compact yet powerful, the MC-MLC-16R is an indispensable component for any comprehensive access control setup, providing reliability and flexibility in one package.
I/O Control Panels
The MC-MLC-16R is part of OSSI’s complete PSIM solution. This smart programmable logic controller (SPLC) is built specifically for controlling system outputs. The panel supports peer to peer communication and ladder logic programming providing ultimate flexibility. The distributed processing and peer to peer communications provide a redundant robust solution that continues to function regardless of the condition of the rest of the system. The controller provides 16 gorm C relay outputs that can be triggered by system multitude of events or from peer to peer commands from other controllers. The integrated Lonworks communications protocol and flexible communications topology supports up to 126 controllers on one trunk line. Each controller can be connected to one or multiple host devices for redundancy. Connection options include serial, fiber or Ethernet adapters. Ethernet interfaces provide direct a connection to local or wide-area networks reducing infrastructure and lowering installation costs.
