Pemko Manufacturing Co 4131CPKL 36IN Automatic Door Bottom Aluminum is designed to enhance the comfort and efficiency of any space by effectively blocking light, sound, and drafts. This innovative door bottom features a high-quality mechanism that ensures smooth operation when the seal is engaged, creating a positive seal against various environmental elements. The 4131 series is versatile, available for surface or semi-mortise mounting, and can be customized to fit door lengths from 12" to 72". With the ability to fill gaps up to 3/4", it provides an exceptional barrier against dust, moisture, insects, fumes, light, and sound. The aluminum case houses a movable drop-bar seal, actuated by a jamb-contacting plunger during door closure, which prevents seal skidding and door hang-ups. Professionals will appreciate the various seal options, including nylon brush, PemkoPrene, sponge EPDM, and sponge silicone, ensuring compatibility with different surfaces. Installation is straightforward, with all necessary components, such as end plates and screws, included. Additionally, the door bottom can be trimmed by up to 2" in the field for a perfect fit. Available finishes include bright dip gold anodized, clear anodized aluminum, dark bronze anodized, and satin nickel anodized aluminum, allowing for seamless integration into any design.

Automatic Door Bottom Aluminum

The 4131 series automatic door bottom is designed to prevent light, sound, and drafts from entering a room. It features a high-quality mechanism for smooth action when the seal is lowered. Available with different seal options (nylon brush, PemkoPrene, sponge EPDM, and sponge silicone), and can be surface mounted or semi-mortised. Comes with installation instructions, end plates, and screws.
