Richelieu 452200 Aluminum Sleeve

Richelieu 452200 Aluminum Sleeve offers a reliable solution for general-purpose cable swaging applications. Designed to be used exclusively with wire rope of the same diameter, this sleeve ensures a secure fit and optimal performance when swaging cables. Crafted from durable aluminum, it promises a long service life and excellent resistance to weather conditions, making it suitable for various outdoor applications. To achieve the best results, it is essential to use a proper swaging tool when creating swages; avoid using a hammer, as this can compromise the integrity of the connection. For installations involving plastic-coated cables, be sure to remove the coating from the assembly area before swaging to ensure a secure bond. The Richelieu 452200 is not designed for hanging loads or supporting the weight of persons or objects, nor should it be used on athletic or playground equipment, emphasizing the importance of adhering to safety guidelines. Packaged in sets of two on a convenient tent card, this aluminum sleeve is a practical addition to any toolkit for building professionals and knowledgeable homeowners alike. With its straightforward application and robust construction, the Richelieu 452200 Aluminum Sleeve stands out as an economical choice for your cable swaging needs.
