Richelieu SK17 Storm Door Deluxe Wind Chain offers an effective solution for safeguarding your storm or screen door from the damaging effects of strong winds. Designed to prevent overextension, this wind chain protects both the door and the door closer, minimizing the risk of hinge and closer damage that can occur when doors swing too far open. Crafted from high-quality steel and expertly plated to withstand the elements, the SK17 wind chain ensures long-lasting durability. It features a special high-profile door bracket, which positions the chain further from the glass, significantly reducing the chance of contact. This design consideration is particularly beneficial for thicker storm doors but is universally compatible with all door types. Installation is straightforward, as the SK17 comes complete with all necessary screws, brackets, and easy-to-follow instructions. Measuring 31/32 inches in height, 7 inches in length, and 2 17/32 inches in width, this wind chain is compact yet robust. Finished in a sleek silver steel, it seamlessly integrates with various door aesthetics while providing reliable functionality. Equip your home with the Richelieu SK17 Wind Chain for peace of mind against unpredictable weather conditions.
