C.R. Laurence FG3000S90 90 Minute Rated Fire Glazing Tape - 5/64" x 7/16" is an advanced intumescent glazing tape designed to enhance fire safety in both wood and hollow metal doors. This specially formulated high-performance tape features an adhesive backing on one side, making it ideal for installing larger vision lites in doors rated for 20, 45, 60, and 90 minutes. With successful testing under UL10B and UL10C standards, this tape ensures reliable fire resistance and positive pressure performance, allowing for greater design flexibility. The FG3000S90 is compatible with wire glass products from manufacturers such as Pilkington, Asahi, and Central Glass, as well as non-wire glazing like Firelite™. It accommodates maximum wood door sizes of 48" x 96" and hollow metal door sizes of 48" x 120", making it suitable for various applications. Engineered to perform optimally within a temperature range of 65ºF to 80ºF, this tape should not be applied below 50ºF or above 100ºF. For best results, use within six months of purchase. Smoke tested to meet NFPA 105-2013 standards, it limits smoke leakage, ensuring a safer environment. This 16 ft. roll of white glazing tape is an essential component for any fire-rated installation.

CRL FG3000 Fire Glazing Tapes are specially formulated high performance intumescent glazing tapes with adhesive backing on one side, that allow for much larger vision lites in 20, 45, 60 and 90 minute rated wood and hollow metal doors with metal vision frames. In 20 and 45 minute rated hollow metal screens the use of FG3000 allows for much larger side lites, borrowed lites and glass transoms. Successfully passed 20 minutes (with hose stream) and 45 minutes on wood and metal doors with vision lites installed.


Maximum Wood Door Size:
48" x 96" (1.22 x 2.44 m) single and/or pairs approved.

Maximum Hollow Metal Door Size:
48" x 120" (1.22 x 3.05 m) single and/or pairs approved.

Listed glazing products include:
(Wire Glazing) Pilkington, Asahi, and Central Glass; (Non-Wire Glazing) Firelite™.

Smoke Tested: Tested to UL 1784 and meets the requirements of NFPA 105-2013 for smoke leakage in an opening; allows no more than 3.0 cfm per square foot at 0.10" water column (about 75 Pa).

Fire Rated: Tested to UL10B Standard Fire Tests and UL10C Positive Pressure Fire Tests of Door Assemblies.
