C.R. Laurence SRCAR01SN Satin Nickel Senior Cardiff Series Hinge is a robust solution designed specifically for 1/2" (12 mm) thick tempered safety glass. This hinge excels in both aesthetic appeal and functional performance, offering a larger version of the popular Cardiff Series to accommodate heavier glass doors, supporting a maximum weight of 145 lbs. (66 kg) and a width of up to 36" (914 mm). Versatile in its installation, the SRCAR01SN can be top or bottom mounted and is adaptable to the CRL Deluxe Header System, making it ideal for enclosures that do not reach the ceiling. The self-centering feature, bolstered by four strong springs, ensures that doors close securely when within 15 degrees of the closed position. The hinge's square corners contribute to a sharp, traditional look that complements various architectural styles. Constructed from solid brass and available in a satin nickel finish, this hinge not only enhances durability but also provides a refined appearance. Included are gaskets, screws, and precise glass fabrication dimensions, ensuring an efficient installation process. Note that the SRHAB01 Adapter Block must be ordered separately for Deluxe Header compatibility. For optimal performance, consider utilizing the SRP1VP1N pivot pins for a tighter closure.

CRL Senior Cardiff Series Top and Bottom Mount Pivot Hinges are designed for use with 1/2" (12 mm) thick tempered safety glass. Some advantages of the Top and Bottom Mount Pivot Hinges include the fact that they carry the majority of the door weight on the bottom hinge, and have the ability to be inset from the door edge, enabling sufficient clearance for towel bars or other projections.


Senior Cardiff Hinges are self-centering, with four strong springs for maximum retention strength. The Senior Cardiff Hinge is adaptable to our Deluxe Header System for enclosures not reaching the ceiling, by utilizing our Senior Adapter Block. NOTE: Must order SRHAB01 Adaptor Block separately. They also can be simply floor and ceiling mounted for doors that do reach the ceiling.

Using two hinges with 1/2" glass (12 mm) the hinge will hold up to 145 lbs. (66 kg) with a maximum door width of 36" (914 mm).

NOTE: Use SRP1VP1N (sold separately) 5 degree Pivot Pins for 1/2" (12 mm) Thick Glass Option for 5 degree tighter door closer. Sold as a set, one for top hinge and one for bottom hinge.
