Abus Lock Company 28/70KA0288 Buffo Diskus Padlock is engineered for robust security and durability, featuring a unique disk shape that effectively thwarts common forced entry methods. With a body width of 2-3/4 inches and a hardened steel shackle measuring 3/8 inches in diameter, this padlock is designed to endure the test of time and resist tampering. The original Diskus® design offers 360° protection, making it an ideal choice for securing valuable assets such as doors, gates, cabinets, and transport vehicles. The padlock incorporates Diskus® Deep-Welding Technology, which enhances its structural integrity, while the precision pin cylinder, equipped with anti-pick pins, ensures superior resistance against unauthorized access. Rated with a Security Level of 7, the 28/70KA0288 is a reliable option for high-risk environments. This versatile padlock can be retrofitted with an ABUS-Plus disk cylinder, providing an additional layer of protection against advanced opening techniques. Whether you're securing lorries, cellar doors, or factory gates, pairing it with the ABUS Diskus® Hasp 140 will create a virtually unassailable locking system. Made in Germany, the Buffo Diskus padlock combines functionality with high-quality craftsmanship, making it a smart choice for those serious about security.

Buffo Diskus Padlock 2-3/4in Wide, 3/8in Diameter Hardened Steel Shackle, Keyed Alike, Boxed

The Diskus® lock is a special kind of padlock with some distinct advantages. The disk shape itself effectively combats the most common ways of forcing it open. The design with only a small opening in the shackle makes it very difficult to tamper with. As these locks are mainly made of stainless steel, they are used especially where both security and protection against corrosion are required. The 28 lock is used to secure doors, gates, cabinets, barns, cellars, etc. The lock can be retrofitted with an ABUS-Plus disk cylinder which provides highest protection against intelligent opening methods.
