Acorn AI6BP 13" Spear Strap Hinge

Acorn AI6BP 13" Spear Strap Hinge offers a perfect blend of durability and rustic charm, making it an ideal choice for both new constructions and historic restorations. Constructed from smooth iron steel, this hinge features a signature matte black finish that adds a timeless appeal to your doors. Its versatile design allows for easy installation on either left or right-hand doors, thanks to removable pins. This hinge operates as a flush mount full surface hinge, but the removable butt end offers the flexibility to convert it into a half surface hinge. This means the strap mounts on the door surface while the butt end fits into the door jamb, providing a clean look when the door is closed. Designed for use on interior or exterior applications, including doors, gates, and sheds, the AI6BP can accommodate doors weighing up to 90 pounds when using three hinges. The strap measures 13 inches long from the center of the barrel to the tip of the spear and is 1-5/8 inches wide at the pivot point, with a butt end height of 3-1/8 inches. Each hinge comes complete with decorative pyramid head screws for the strap and flat head screws for the butt, ensuring a polished finish. Proudly manufactured in the USA, the Acorn AI6BP is sold individually, making it a versatile addition to any project.
