Acorn CK70Z Cut Spikes-7" 70d-Hot-Dip Galvanized-1 Pound are essential for heavy construction projects, particularly in deck and bridge work. Crafted on historic nail machines dating back to 1865, each spike is forged from high-quality steel, ensuring robust performance. The hot-dip galvanized finish enhances corrosion resistance, making these spikes ideal for outdoor applications where durability is paramount. Designed to drive easily through planking and heavy timber, these cut spikes exhibit remarkable holding power. Their unique shape causes wood fibers to compress and wedge against the nails, significantly reducing the likelihood of pull-out, which is critical in structural applications. With an approximate count of seven nails per pound, Acorn's CK70Z spikes provide excellent value for large projects requiring reliability and strength. These cut spikes are not only functional but also reflect a commitment to traditional craftsmanship. The slight variations in head shape and nail length, resulting from the manufacturing process, add character and authenticity to each piece. Proudly made in Mansfield, Massachusetts, Acorn CK70Z Cut Spikes are an indispensable choice for professionals and discerning homeowners alike, offering both performance and a touch of history in every nail.
