Acorn CK80 8" 80d Cut Spikes - Standard - 1 Pound

Acorn CK80 Cut Spikes-8" 80d-Standard-1 Pound are essential for heavy construction projects, expertly designed to drive seamlessly through planking and heavy timber, making them ideal for deck and bridge work. Crafted using techniques from the 19th century, these spikes are produced on original nail machines dating back to 1865. The process involves heating steel plates to a reddish hue and feeding them by hand, ensuring a level of craftsmanship that modern manufacturing often lacks. Each spike is cut at a rate of 40 per minute, delivering a reliable supply for your demanding applications. Available in both a standard finish and hot-dip galvanized options, these cut spikes offer exceptional durability and resistance to corrosion. Their unique shape enhances holding power by pushing wood fibers downward, making them challenging to pull out once embedded. With an approximate count of five nails per pound for the 80d size, these cut spikes provide a robust solution for your construction needs. Proudly manufactured and packaged in Mansfield, Massachusetts, Acorn CK80 Cut Spikes exemplify quality and tradition, ensuring that once you experience their performance, you'll want to use them for all your projects.
