Adams Rite 4900-35-102-628 Heavy Duty 1-1/8" DeadLatchAdams Rite 4900-35-102-628 Heavy Duty DeadLatch offers robust security and versatile traffic control for commercial applications. Designed with a flat faceplate and a 1-1/8-inch backset, this deadlatch features a 4-5/8-inch radius mortised strike, making it suitable for both left-hand and right-hand installations. The unique bolt holdback feature allows the user to retain the bolt in a retracted position with a reverse turn of the key, enabling two-way traffic when needed. Constructed from steel with corrosion-resistant plating, the deadlatch includes a solid brass latch bolt that is easily reversible using just a screwdriver. A stainless steel auxiliary latch pin prevents unauthorized entry, enhancing security against "loiding" and case-knife attacks. The package includes both flat and radius faceplates, with the flat option adjustable for right or left beveled edge doors. This model is interchangeable with any MS1850A or MS1850S deadbolt of the same backset and faceplate shape and can retrofit existing 4500/4700 preparations. The standard strike provided is the 4902 for flush door closures, while additional strike options are available for paired and center-hung doors. Experience reliable performance and peace of mind with the Adams Rite 4900 Heavy Duty DeadLatch.
