Adams Rite 8099-M1-3230 Active Dummy Push Bar

Adams Rite 8099-M1-3230 Active Dummy Push Bar combines functionality with a sleek design, making it an ideal choice for aluminum, hollow metal, and wood doors. This 30-inch push bar features a single monitoring switch, ensuring ease of use while enhancing security. The dark bronze anodized aluminum finish not only provides durability but also complements various architectural styles. The patented "Starwheel" bolt technology is a standout feature, interlocking the door to its frame for enhanced security. Upon closing, the interlocking noseguard and starwheel bolt engage with the strike, while the deadlocking slide secures the mechanism, allowing for a smooth unlocking process when the pushbar is depressed. Designed for versatility, this non-handed device supports standard door heights up to 8 feet and accommodates door thicknesses of 1-3/4 inches to 2-1/4 inches. The pushbar can be adjusted from 30 inches to 44 inches, ensuring a perfect fit for a variety of openings. With options for standard or electric dogging, installation is straightforward with standard self-tapping screws. Adams Rite backs the 8099-M1-3230 with a five-year limited warranty, underscoring its commitment to quality and performance in commercial applications.

Clean, unobtrusive design. Easy to install.

Patented "Starwheel" bolt interlocks door to frame, which is a unique feature for exit devices. The "Starwheel" bolt comes into play when the door closes. The interlocking noseguard and starwheel bolt close around the strike. The deadlocking slide springs over, locking the starwheel bolt to the strike. When the pushbar is depressed, the deadlocking slide moves back, allowing the door to unlock from the strike.
