Crafted from solid brass, this mortise housing is compatible with Corbin Russwin's 8000 Series Interchangeable Cores available in both 6 and 7-pin configurations. This feature is particularly beneficial in environments such as office buildings, schools, hospitals, and hotels, where security needs may change frequently. The operational design allows all keys, including change, master, and grand master, to function normally while a special control key is used for the rekeying process. With a limited one-year warranty and a variety of core options, including security and Pyramid types, the Corbin Russwin 1070-114-A01-6 is a dependable choice for commercial applications, designed to enhance security and simplify maintenance over the life of the building.

Corbin Russwin Interchangeable Core Mortise and Rim Housings are made from soldi brass and are available to accept Corbin Russwin 8000 Series Interchangeable Cores in 6 or 7-Pin versions.
Interchangeable cores provide rekeying convenience for virtually all types of keying systems.
Interchangeable cores like this save time and money over the life of a building.
Rekeying can be done by non-technical personnel without removing hardware from the door. When used system wide, IC provides tremendous rekeying convenience. When planned from the inception of a system, IC cylinders can be integrated with conventional cylinders.
IC is recommended for virtually all types of keying systems, such as office buildings, hotels, schools, hospitals and universities. When used in exit devices and other installations which are labor intensive to rekey, IC saves time and money over the life of the building.
All operating keys (change, master, grand master) operate the lock normally. To rekey, use the special control key. The control key operates at a separate shear line in certain chambers within the core. Only the control key is required to remove and install a core.
Cores are available in 6-pin (standard), 7-pin, security and Pyramid.
Corbin Russwin recommends temporary construction cores for greater security. Special construction master keying is also available, when planned from the inception of the keying system.
Concealed Key Control (CKC) is available for all Corbin Russwin cores.
