With a convenient application process, simply attach a SGT Polyethylene Sealant Guide to match your Super Spacer® width and backfill to the edge of the glass-making it an economical choice for low production needs. The 877 Sealant performs optimally when temperatures exceed 40°F (5°C) and humidity levels are above 40%. It boasts a tack-free time of 45-60 minutes at 77°F (25°C) and cures at a rate of 3/16" (4.8 mm) per 24 hours, ensuring a reliable seal. It’s important to fully seal insulating glass units within one hour of exposing Super Spacer® adsorbent to the atmosphere to maintain product integrity. Packaged in a 10.3 oz. cartridge, the 877 Sealant has a shelf life of 12 months and comes in a striking black finish. This versatile product is suitable for use with both adsorbent-filled aluminum spacers and Super Spacer® systems, making it a valuable addition to any glazing toolkit.
