C.R. Laurence FJ2330 23" Tubular Spiral Non-Tilt Window Balance with Blue Bushing is designed to provide reliable support for window sashes weighing up to 35 pounds (15.9 kg). This heavy-duty window balance is a perfect replacement for either metal or plastic tube balances with a standard 9/16" (14 mm) diameter. Crafted for non-tilt windows, this balance not only enhances functionality but also ensures durability. When replacing window balances, it is advisable to replace both balances in the window simultaneously for optimal performance. To select the correct tubular spiral balance, begin by confirming the diameter of the existing tube; the FJ series is identified by its 9/16" diameter. Measure the tube length without including the rod length, and check the color of the nylon bushing. A blue bushing indicates this heavy-duty option is suitable for your needs. Please note that this product is sold individually, and careful selection is key to efficient installation. With no shipping limitations and easy ordering available through the CRL catalog, the FJ2330 balance stands out as a dependable choice for building professionals and knowledgeable homeowners alike.
