The 6" diameter pads are compatible with the GV5000 Sander-Polisher and any equipment that accepts a 3/8" long, 5/16"-18 male stud. They offer a versatile sanding solution suitable for a range of projects, particularly when working with glass. For optimal results, consider pairing these pads with the most popular grits for glass, including 60X for extra-rough roughing, 80X for contouring, and 220X for an extra smooth frosted finish. Safety is paramount; always wear appropriate protective gear, such as CL0210 safety spectacles and a 2200N N95 Disposable Particulate Respirator. Please note that these pads are not suitable for use with the Makita® 9218 Disc Sander. CRL Hook and Loop Sanding Pads are designed with a unique hook and loop backing that allows for easy attachment and removal on your hook and loop sanding discs. CRL HLPAD5 and HLPAD6 can be used with GV5000 Sander-Polisher or units accepting a 3/8" long, 5/16"-18 male stud.
