Designed specifically for use with 3/8" or 1/2" (10 or 12 mm) monolithic tempered glass, this bottom gate patch fitting ensures secure and reliable operation. With a pivot setback of 2-3/4" (70 mm), it seamlessly integrates into the lower corner of the glass panel, providing stability and support. This fitting requires a 3/4" (19 mm) diameter hole and a corner notch in the glass, making it crucial for proper installation. Each package includes a detailed template and instructions to facilitate accurate glass fabrication. Please note that these fittings are not suitable for laminated glass applications. When using this hardware for a 1/2" glass door, adhere to the specified maximum dimensions: a height of 102" (2.59 m), a weight limit of 176 lbs. (80 kg), and a width of 42" (1.09 m). Exceeding these limits necessitates the use of full door rails for safety. CRL Bottom Gate Patch Fittings are used with our bottom door pivots or floor closers. It fits in the lower corner of the gate's glass panel, and requires a hole and cut-out in the glass. Available in brushed stainless steel finish, it comes complete with instructions and a glass cut-out template.
