CRL UV6011K UV601 Low Viscosity UV Adhesive, 1000gC.R. Laurence UV6011K UV601 Low Viscosity UV Adhesive - 1000g is expertly formulated for optimal glass-to-glass bonding, making it an ideal choice for applications where appearance matters most. This 100% solids adhesive boasts a low viscosity that enhances capillary action, allowing it to flow easily into tight spaces for seamless connections, particularly in showcases and glass furniture production. The UV601 adhesive cures within seconds upon exposure to ultraviolet light, providing high-strength bonds with a tensile shear strength of 2400 psi. Its optically clear finish ensures that the adhesive remains undetectable, making it perfect for bonding optical components. The acceptable bondline gap ranges from 0.5 to 1 mil, allowing for precision in your projects. With a Shore D hardness of 80-90, the cured adhesive exhibits excellent durability. For best results, it is recommended to use a cleaner and degreaser prior to application to prepare the glass surfaces by removing dirt and grease. Please note that while this adhesive works well with various materials, testing is advised when bonding plastics, as compatibility may vary. Ensure proper storage away from sunlight to maintain its 12-month shelf life. Choose C.R. Laurence UV601 for reliable, high-quality bonding solutions tailored to the needs of professionals in the field.

CRL UV601 is a low viscosity, 100% solids, adhesive that forms resilient, high strength bonds between materials such as glass, metal, wood, and many plastics.
Due to its high purity UV601 is especially suited for bonding glass-to-glass where looks are paramount making it suitable for bonding optical components. In addition, because of its excellent capillary action (low viscosity) it is ideal for glass-to-glass and tempered glass-to-tempered glass bonding, primarily in the construction of showcases and the efficient production of glass furniture. Reduced clean-up time means glass furniture production cycles are done quickly and efficiently.
Bonds prepared with
CRL UV601 are optically clear and the adhesive cures within seconds upon exposure to ultraviolet light. The speed of cure depends on the UV intensity as measured at the product surface, as well as the adhesive depth. Store adhesive away from sunlight.
Cleaner and Degreaser provides for optimum adhesion when used first to prepare the glass by removing any dirt and grease that is present.
Note: When bonding plastics, always test first, as not all plastics can be bonded properly. Do not bond any coated parts (powder coated or galvanized) with this adhesive.
