C.R. Laurence Z206CH Chrome Z-Series Round Type 2" Radius Base Clamp is engineered for secure and stylish glass installation, accommodating glass thicknesses from 1/4" to 5/16" (6 mm to 8 mm). Crafted from durable zinc with a stunning chrome finish, this clamp is ideal for various applications, including partitions, railings, and windbreaks. The radius base design ensures a seamless integration with 2" (50.8 mm) diameter round tubing, making it a versatile choice for both residential and commercial projects. For enhanced stability, a 1/2" (12 mm) notch is required when using the included steel pin for added glass support. Each clamp comes with rubber gaskets and a steel pin, providing everything needed for a secure installation. Installation is straightforward, requiring a drilled 17/32" (13.5 mm) hole. For thin wall tubing (less than 1/8"), pair this clamp with CRL’s ZB0LT Socket Head Cap Bolt and ZRNUT Rivet-Nut to achieve optimal results. With dimensions of 2-1/4" (57 mm) in height and 2-1/8" (54 mm) in width, the Z206CH clamp combines functionality and aesthetics, making it a must-have component for your next glazing project.

Chrome Z-Series Round Type 2" Radius Base Clamp for 1/4" and 5/16" Glass

Our CRL Z-Series Round Type Radius Base Glass Clamps are designed to be used on glass thickness of 1/4" up to 1/2" (6 to 12 mm), and are available in either zinc or stainless steel. The clamps are the perfect solution for partitions, railings, windbreaks and countless other projects.


For securing the Z-Clamp to thin wall tubing (less than 1/8"), use CRL’s ZB0LT Socket Head Cap Bolt and ZRNUT Rivet-Nut. For installation, drill a 17/32" (13.5 mm) hole, then install the Rivet-Nut using 34604 Heavy-Duty Thread Insert tool and 34618 5/16" Mandrel and Nosepiece.

NOTE: 1/2" (12 mm) notch is required using the steel pin (included with the clamp) for additional glass support. Replacement gaskets are available by ordering CRL Cat. No. Z14RG.

Product Warning:

For interior CRL recommends pinning each glass panel as required when the glass is not supported from the bottom edge to prevent glass panel slippage. Rubber gaskets and steel pins are provided with each clamp.
