Laurence Z412CH Chrome Z-Series Round Type Flat Base Zinc Clamp for 1/2" Glass offers a reliable solution for securing glass panels in various applications, including mezzanines, partitions, railings, and windbreaks. Designed specifically for 1/2" (12 mm) glass, this clamp ensures a robust and stylish installation. It features a flat base design, making it compatible with square tubing or other flat surfaces. Constructed from durable zinc, the Z412CH clamp includes rubber gaskets and an optional steel pin for additional glass support, enhancing stability while maintaining a sleek aesthetic. If you're working with thinner materials, clamps for 1/4" (6 mm) to 3/8" (10 mm) glass are also available, accommodating a range of project needs. For installations requiring a secure connection to thin wall tubing, consider using CRL’s ZB0LT Socket Head Cap Bolt and ZRNUT Rivet-Nut. Custom painted finishes are available upon request, allowing for seamless integration with your design vision. With a height of 2-5/16" (59 mm) and a width of 2-1/8" (54 mm), the clamp's dimensions provide flexibility in various setups. For optimal performance, ensure that each glass panel is pinned when not fully supported, preventing slippage and ensuring safety.

Our CRL Z-Series Round Type Radius Base Glass Clamps are designed to be used on glass thickness of 1/4" up to 1/2" (6 to 12 mm), and are available in either zinc or stainless steel. The clamps are the perfect solution for partitions, railings, windbreaks and countless other projects.


Replacement screws are available by ordering CRL Cat. No. ZCS5X15CH. For securing the Z-Clamp to thin wall tubing (less than 1/8"), use CRL’s ZB0LT Socket Head Cap Bolt and ZRNUT Rivet-Nut. For installation, drill a 17/32" (13.5 mm) hole, then install the Rivet-Nut using 34604 Heavy-Duty Thread Insert tool and 34618 5/16" Mandrel and Nosepiece. NOTE: 1/2" (12 mm) hole is required if using the steel pin (included with the clamp) for additional glass support. SPECIFICATIONS:

Material: Choice of Zinc Constructed or Stainless Steel. Stainless Steel or Powder Painted Zinc Clamps are recommended for more durability in exterior applications.
Glass Fabrication: For 1/4" (6 mm), 5/16" (8 mm), and 3/8" (10 mm) Thick Glass: 1/2" (12 mm) diameter hole required if using provided steel pin for glass support. For 1/2" (12 mm) Thick Glass: 9/16" (14 mm) diameter hole required if using provided steel pin for glass support.
Includes: Rubber Gaskets and Steel Pin (for optional use) with Grommet


Product Warning:

For interior CRL recommends pinning each glass panel as required when the glass is not supported from the bottom edge to prevent glass panel slippage. Rubber gaskets and steel pins are provided with each clamp.
