Hafele 003.15.041 Titebond Melamine Glue

Hafele 003.15.041 Titebond, Melamine Glue is your go-to adhesive for bonding melamine and vinyl-coated products to porous materials. This 16 oz. glue features a thicker formulation, significantly reducing the risk of runs and drips during application, ensuring a clean and precise finish. With a low odor and nonflammable properties, it offers a safe and user-friendly experience. Designed for optimal performance, the application temperature should be above 40°F. It provides an open assembly time of 5 minutes at 70°F with 50% relative humidity, allowing ample time for adjustments. Total assembly time ranges from 10 to 15 minutes under the same conditions. The glue requires a minimum spread of approximately 6 mils or 250 square feet per gallon, with clamping pressures suggested between 100-250 psi, depending on the type of wood. Application is versatile; you can use a roller spreader, brush, or even transfer the glue to plastic bottles for more intricate tasks. Cleanup is straightforward-just use a damp cloth while the glue is wet, and scrape off any dried excess for a seamless finish. Note that this glue is not intended for exterior use or structural applications. Keep it stored safely, away from freezing conditions and out of reach of children.
