Hafele 372.27.321 Swing-Up Fitting, Hafele Free Space 6.15 is designed for heavy-duty applications, providing reliable support for lids in cabinetry. This model, featuring an anthracite housing and nickel-plated lever arm, is ideal for doors ranging from 14" to 26" in height, accommodating lid weights between 14 and 57 lbs. With its efficient design, it boasts an efficiency factor of 4080 to 6600, ensuring smooth operation. Installation is straightforward, mounting directly to the side panel using a single Euro screw. The door can be attached without tools, sliding onto pre-mounted plates for ease of use. The opening angle is adjustable to either 90° or 107°, allowing flexibility based on your specific needs. For optimal performance, it's essential to select the correct model based on door height and weight, considering the weight of the handle as well. The fitting includes two right/left fittings and front fixing brackets with pre-mounted screws, along with comprehensive mounting instructions and a drilling template. It's important to note that this model is not applicable for aluminum framed doors. Ensure proper tension adjustments using a cordless driver to maintain the longevity of the fitting and prevent damage.

Important Selecting the correct model depends on door height and then door weight which should also consider the weight of the handle. We recommend ordering the stronger fitting if in doubt. The lever arms are spring loaded. There is a risk of injury and damage to the fitting! After mounting the arms, do not press them down in the open position until the counterweight of the door is mounted. A Pozi Drive #2 bit is required for all screw installations and adjustment features, otherwise damage to the screw head is likely. Be certain that Euro screws which attach the fittings to the side panels are completely tight, drawing the fitting tight against the side wall. For tension adjustment feature, we recommend using a cordless driver as these screws are geared very low. Be sure to adjust both sides to the same tensioning position.
