Hafele 372.27.507 Swing-Up Fitting, Hafele Free Space 1.8 offers an efficient solution for push-to-open applications, eliminating the need for handles while maintaining a sleek and modern aesthetic. Designed in a light gray finish, this fitting caters to a wide range of flap applications, supporting up to 80% of them, while allowing for maximum interior space within cabinets. Utilizing Hafele's engineered technology, the fitting allows for door openings to be adjusted to either 90° or 107° with an integrated stop, enhancing usability and convenience. Installation is straightforward, as it plugs into standard 32/37 mm line holes and secures with a single pre-mounted screw. The intuitive 3D door alignment and closing adjustment feature streamline the setup process further. This fitting is suitable for one-piece wood or aluminum frame doors, accommodating cabinet heights from 225 mm to 650 mm and flap weights up to 9.3 kg. Additional hinges and cover caps are unnecessary, simplifying the assembly. Each package includes two fittings, mounting brackets, screws, and comprehensive installation instructions. Ensure optimal performance by selecting the appropriate model based on door height and weight, and always use the recommended Pozi Drive #2 bit for installation.

Important Selecting the correct model depends on door height and then door weight which should also consider the weight of the handle. We recommend ordering the stronger fitting if in doubt. The lever arms are spring loaded. There is a risk of injury and damage to the fitting! After mounting the arms, do not press them down in the open position until the counterweight of the door is mounted. A Pozi Drive #2 bit is required for all screw installations and adjustment features, otherwise damage to the screw head is likely. Be certain that Euro screws which attach the fittings to the side panels are completely tight, drawing the fitting tight against the side wall. For tension adjustment feature, we recommend using a cordless driver as these screws are geared very low. Be sure to adjust both sides to the same tensioning position.
