LCN 1461-EDA 695 DKBRZ Surface Closer

LCN 1461-EDA 695 Surface Closer DKBRZ is a Grade 1 parallel arm surface closer designed for durability and versatility in both commercial and institutional settings. Featuring a robust cast iron body with a full complement bearing, this closer is equipped with a 1-1/4 inch diameter piston and a 3/4 inch single heat-treated pinion journal, ensuring reliable performance. The dark bronze painted finish adds an aesthetically pleasing touch while providing protection against wear. This non-handed closer accommodates doors with a swing of up to 110 degrees and is adjustable from spring size 1 to 6, making it suitable for interior doors up to 5 feet and exterior doors up to 4 feet. The installation is quick and straightforward, thanks to the included stick-on template that reduces installation time by half. Additionally, independent adjustment valves allow for precise control over backcheck, closing, and latching speeds, all concealed behind the cover to prevent tampering. The Cush-N-Stop® function integrates a built-in stop to protect the closer, door, and frame from sudden impacts. With a 30-year limited warranty and tested to 2,000,000 cycles, the LCN 1461-EDA 695 is designed to provide long-lasting reliability and performance.

The LCN 1460 Series is designed for maximum versatility, available with multiple cover options, it can be used for both commercial and institutional applications. This Grade 1 closer features a cast iron body with a full compliment bearing, 1-1/4 In. diameter piston, 3/4 In. diameter single heat treated pinion journal and all weather fluid. Spring size is adjustable from size 1 to 6.

• Non-sized (1-6) cylinder is adjustable for interior doors to 5’0” and exterior doors to 4’0”
• Closer mounts hinge side, top jamb and parallel arm on either right or left swinging doors
• Closer meets ADA requirements
• Standard or optional custom powder coat finish. Optional plated finish on Designer Series metal cover, arm and fasteners
• Optional SRI primer for installations in corrosive conditions
