LCN 1461-HD/LONG 695 Surface Closer DKBRZ is a Grade 1 top jamb surface closer designed for durability and versatility. Ideal for both commercial and institutional applications, this heavy-duty closer features a push-side installation with a double lever arm. Its slim plastic cover and dark bronze painted finish ensure a sleek appearance while providing robust performance. Constructed with a cast iron body and a full complement bearing, the LCN 1461 offers a 1-1/4 inch diameter piston and a 3/4 inch diameter single heat-treated pinion journal, making it suitable for high-traffic environments. The spring size is adjustable from 1 to 6, accommodating various door sizes and conditions, with a factory setting at strength 3. The closer supports a 180-degree swing and can be mounted on the hinge side, top jamb, or as a parallel arm on either right or left swinging doors. Notable features include independent adjustment valves for backcheck, closing, and latching speeds, all concealed to prevent tampering. With a tested cycle life of 2,000,000 cycles, minimal maintenance is required. The Cush-N-Stop® function protects the closer, door, and frame from damage during abrupt stops, ensuring reliable operation for years to come.

The LCN 1460 Series is designed for maximum versatility, available with multiple cover options, it can be used for both commercial and institutional applications. This Grade 1 closer features a cast iron body with a full compliment bearing, 1-1/4 In. diameter piston, 3/4 In. diameter single heat treated pinion journal and all weather fluid. Spring size is adjustable from size 1 to 6.

• Non-sized (1-6) cylinder is adjustable for interior doors to 5’0” and exterior doors to 4’0”
• Closer mounts hinge side, top jamb and parallel arm on either right or left swinging doors
• Closer meets ADA requirements
• Standard or optional custom powder coat finish. Optional plated finish on Designer Series metal cover, arm and fasteners
• Optional SRI primer for installations in corrosive conditions
