LCN 1461-RW/PA 696 Surface Closer BRASS combines durability with versatility, making it an ideal choice for both commercial and institutional applications. This Grade 1 tri-mount surface closer is designed for easy installation on push or pull sides, configured with a double lever arm and a slim plastic cover. With a satin brass painted finish, it seamlessly blends functionality with an attractive appearance. Constructed from high-strength cast iron, the closer features a 1-1/4 inch diameter piston and a heat-treated pinion journal, ensuring long-lasting performance. Its adjustable spring size accommodates doors up to 5’0" for interior use and 4’0" for exterior use, providing flexibility for various door sizes. The closer is factory set to strength 3 and can be adjusted from size 1 to 6, allowing for customization based on specific site conditions. Designed for ease of use, the LCN 1461 includes independent adjustment valves for backcheck, closing, and latching speeds, all concealed to deter tampering. Additionally, its Cush-N-Stop® function protects the closer and door from damage during sudden stops. With a 30-year limited warranty, this closer is built to meet ADA requirements while ensuring minimal maintenance.

The LCN 1460 Series is designed for maximum versatility, available with multiple cover options, it can be used for both commercial and institutional applications. This Grade 1 closer features a cast iron body with a full compliment bearing, 1-1/4 In. diameter piston, 3/4 In. diameter single heat treated pinion journal and all weather fluid. Spring size is adjustable from size 1 to 6.

• Closer mounts hinge side, top jamb and parallel arm on either right or left swinging doors
• Closer meets ADA requirements
• Standard or optional custom powder coat finish. Optional plated finish on Designer Series metal cover, arm and fasteners
• Optional SRI primer for installations in corrosive conditions
