Morris 39011 Weatherproof Photocontrol provides reliable operation for outdoor lighting applications, ensuring efficiency and durability in various environments. Constructed with a die-cast aluminum housing, this vandal-resistant unit is designed to withstand the elements, making it ideal for residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Featuring an extra wide 1-inch light sensor, the photocontrol enhances accuracy in detecting ambient light levels. Its heavy-duty thermal bi-metal switch includes a 30-60 second time delay, effectively preventing unwanted cycling caused by transient light sources such as lightning or car headlights. While the turn-on level is set at the factory, the unit includes an adjustable slide shutter/bar for field adjustments. The Morris 39011 is easy to install, typically mounting on fixtures or boxes, and operates as a single pole, single throw switch. With a temperature range from -40°F to 158°F, it maintains functionality in extreme conditions. This photocontrol consumes less than 1.5 watts on average and supports a ballast rating of 3000VA and a tungsten rating of 3000W. UL Listed for safety, the Morris 39011 includes a standard 1/2" I.P.S. pipe threaded nipple with gasket and locknut, along with 6" color-coded leads and wiring diagram for straightforward installation.
