The PH40SB includes an INT300 insert, making it easy to mount doors with the CRL PH20A or PH21A top door patch fittings. Its smart design allows for the insert to be repositioned on the non-hinged side, facilitating double swing door applications. For one-way door setups, consider integrating the INT306 transom patch door stop insert, while the INT305L patch keeper insert can be utilized with the AMR205 lock for top installations. It's important to note that if the transom exceeds 100 lbs. (45.4 kg), it must be ceiling-supported to prevent slippage. This product comes complete with a template and instructions for straightforward installation, and it is imperative to remember that laminated glass is not compatible with this fitting. The
CRL Sidelite Mounted Transom Patch is used to support a transom from a sidelite glass panel. It comes with a INT300 Insert for mounting a door with the CRL
PH20A or
PH21A Top Door Patch Fitting. The Insert can also be moved on the non-hinged side, allowing for a double swing door. A
INT306 Transom Patch Door Stop Insert can be used to create a one way door. Also, a
INT305 Transom Patch Keeper Insert can be installed for use with an
AMR205 Lock when used for top of the door installation.
If the weight of the transom exceeds 100 lbs. (45.4 kg) the transom must be supported from the ceiling. This is to prevent the Patches from slipping from too much weight. Use either Cat. No. B5BC Smoke Baffle Channel or PH94 Patch Fittings. Please contact our Technical Sales Department for assistance.
