C.R. Laurence SRCAR010RB Oil Rubbed Bronze Senior Cardiff Series Hinge offers an exceptional solution for glass door installations, accommodating 1/2" (12 mm) thick tempered safety glass. This hinge is designed as a larger version of the popular Cardiff Series, providing a robust top or bottom mount option that can be adapted to the CRL Deluxe Header System. With its square corners, it delivers a sharp, traditional aesthetic, making it ideal for various architectural styles. Engineered to support up to 145 lbs. (66 kg) with a maximum door width of 36" (914 mm), the hinge features a self-centering mechanism with four strong springs, ensuring reliable performance and retention strength. It allows for more glass exposure while reducing fabrication costs compared to side mount glass-to-glass hinges. Included with the hinge are gaskets, screws, and precise glass fabrication dimensions for straightforward installation. The solid brass construction not only enhances durability but also provides a luxurious oil rubbed bronze finish that complements any design. For installations that do not reach the ceiling, the hinge can be paired with the optional SRHAB01 Adapter Block (sold separately). Note that proper cut-out dimensions from the provided template must be followed for optimal performance.

CRL Senior Cardiff Series Top and Bottom Mount Pivot Hinges are designed for use with 1/2" (12 mm) thick tempered safety glass. Some advantages of the Top and Bottom Mount Pivot Hinges include the fact that they carry the majority of the door weight on the bottom hinge, and have the ability to be inset from the door edge, enabling sufficient clearance for towel bars or other projections.


Senior Cardiff Hinges are self-centering, with four strong springs for maximum retention strength. The Senior Cardiff Hinge is adaptable to our Deluxe Header System for enclosures not reaching the ceiling, by utilizing our Senior Adapter Block. NOTE: Must order SRHAB01 Adaptor Block separately. They also can be simply floor and ceiling mounted for doors that do reach the ceiling.

Using two hinges with 1/2" glass (12 mm) the hinge will hold up to 145 lbs. (66 kg) with a maximum door width of 36" (914 mm).

NOTE: Use SRP1VP1N (sold separately) 5 degree Pivot Pins for 1/2" (12 mm) Thick Glass Option for 5 degree tighter door closer. Sold as a set, one for top hinge and one for bottom hinge.
