Designed for use with 3/8" to 1/2" thick monolithic tempered glass, this support bar can serve as an effective alternative to traditional header kits, enhancing both safety and design. Constructed from a robust 3/4" (19 mm) diameter tubular brass, the bar features solid brass fittings that ensure durability and a polished look. The wall-to-glass model comes with a bell-shaped clamping device on one end, while the glass-to-glass option secures panels with swiveling U-shaped receptacles at both ends. Nylon-tipped set screws hold the glass firmly in place, preventing any metal-to-glass contact and potential damage. With a convenient length of 39" (991 mm), the SUP10BBRZ can be easily cut to size to accommodate various configurations without the need for drilling holes in the glass. These CRL Fixed Panel Support Bars stabilize fixed panels of glass in enclosures that do not go all the way up to the ceiling. The Wall-to-Glass Bar has a bell-shaped clamping device on the wall side, and a solid brass end cap with a swiveling U-shaped receptacle to secure the fixed glass panel. The Glass-to-Glass Bar has solid brass end caps with swiveling U-shaped receptacles on both ends to secure each fixed panel. Nylon-tipped set screws secure the glass and prevent glass-to-metal contact. Bars are available in two lengths, and in sizes to secure 1/4" to 1/2" (6 to 12 mm) thick glass. Finishes are available to match most of our hinges, knobs, and pull handles. No holes or cut-outs are required in the glass.
