C.R. Laurence V116W White Vulkem 116 Polyurethane Sealant is a versatile, one-part sealant formulated for exceptional performance in a variety of construction applications. This moisture-curing polyurethane sealant exhibits primerless adhesion on most common construction surfaces, making it an efficient choice for professionals. Its durable and flexible properties ensure reliability in moving joints, while the grainy textured finish provides an aesthetically pleasing look that seamlessly blends with stucco and masonry surfaces. Ideal for both exterior and interior use, Vulkem 116 is particularly well-suited for precast masonry, glazing, and window frame perimeters. It is designed for areas that may experience continual water immersion when used with the appropriate primer. The light texture not only enhances its visual appeal but also effectively conceals any tooling marks. Technical compliance is assured as it meets stringent standards, including U.S. Federal Specification TT-S-00230C and ASTM C920. While it is easy to apply with conventional caulking guns, it's important to avoid application on damp or contaminated surfaces. With a shelf life of 12 months and a convenient 10.1 oz. cartridge, this sealant is ready to meet the needs of your next project with confidence.

Basic Uses
Vulkem® 116 is an excellent general purpose sealant designed for use in precast masonry, glazing, window frame perimeters, and similar types of construction joints. Suitable for continual immersion in water with the appropriate primer. Designed for exterior and interior use, the light, grainy texture has proven very popular for matching textured substrates like stucco and masonry, and for smooth metal storefront joints. The light texture blends and hides tooling marks, and the wavy effect that is inevitable when tooling sealants.
