C.R. Laurence V73814X112 1/4" x 1-1/2" Norseal V730 Acoustical Sealant Tape is expertly engineered to minimize sound transmission through walls and partitions, making it an essential choice for building professionals focused on creating quieter environments. This innovative tape not only effectively dampens noise but also controls vibration within wall partition systems, enhancing overall performance. Constructed with a closed-cell structure, the sealant tape features adhesive on one side for easy application. Its low density is designed to maintain the desired Sound Transmission Class (STC) rating, ensuring it adheres seamlessly to irregular surfaces. Additionally, the V730 serves as a reliable gasket for panel materials, providing a robust seal against light and dust infiltration. Beyond sound control, this product contributes to energy efficiency by minimizing heat loss, helping to maintain comfortable indoor temperatures. With a roll length of 50 ft. (15 m), a thickness of 1/4 in. (6 mm), and a width of 1-1/2 in. (38 mm), the Norseal V730 offers convenience and versatility for various applications. For optimal performance, store the material at 70°F (21°C) and 50% relative humidity, ensuring surfaces are clean before application.
