This compact standoff features a 2" (51 mm) square design with a 1-3/4" (44.5 mm) base, ensuring a robust installation on steel, concrete, or wood substrates. It is specifically designed for use with 1/2" and 3/4" (12 and 19 mm) monolithic tempered glass as well as 9/16" and 27/32" (13.52 and 21.52 mm) laminated tempered glass utilizing Kuraray SentryGlas® interlayer, making it versatile for various applications. Fabricated from high-grade 316 stainless steel, this product is available in both brushed and polished finishes, providing durability and aesthetic appeal for any architectural setting. Each standoff includes a 3/8"-16 x 2" Allen stud for secure mounting, along with necessary gaskets and grommets. For optimal installation, use the SSW12 Spanner Wrench to tighten the cap. It's essential to maintain proper spacing-minimum hole spacing between standoffs is 4" (102 mm)-and adhere to the product warning to only use with specified tempered glass. Periodic maintenance is recommended to preserve the stainless steel finish, ensuring longevity and performance.

These heavy-duty CRL Glass Rail Standoff Base and Caps work with hand or guard railings. The standoff fitting is 2" (51 mm) square with a 1-3/4" (44.5 mm) base. It comes with a 3/8"-16 x 2" Allen stud for mounting to steel, along with necessary gaskets and grommet. Use our Cat. No. SSW12 Spanner Wrench to tighten the cap. Fabricated with 316 grade stainless steel in brushed or polished finishes.
