Made from durable A36 steel alloy, each weld block features a centered 1/2"-13 tapped hole, ensuring a secure fit when combined with our Cat. No. SHCS12X34 Stainless Steel Socket Head Cap Screws. The recommended installation technique involves attaching the weld blocks to the base shoe, positioning it correctly, and then welding them securely to the supporting beam or angle. These weld blocks measure 2-1/4 inches in length and 2-1/2 inches in width, with a thickness of 1/2 inch, and are sold in packs of 10. For optimal performance, it is advised to weld two of the four sides with a minimum 3/16" fillet weld.
