Richelieu 451900 Aluminum Sleeve is an economical solution designed specifically for general-purpose cable swaging applications. Crafted from durable aluminum, this sleeve offers a long service life while providing excellent weather resistance, making it suitable for various environments. The 1/8 inch size ensures compatibility with wire rope of the same diameter, which is sold separately. To achieve optimal results, it is essential to use a proper swaging tool rather than a hammer when making your swages or crimps. For those using plastic-coated cables, be sure to remove the coating from the assembly area before swaging to ensure a secure connection. It is crucial to note that this aluminum sleeve is not intended for hanging loads, lifting objects, or supporting the weight of persons. Additionally, it should not be used on athletic or playground equipment, ensuring safe and appropriate application. Packaged in convenient 6 per tent card, the Richelieu 451900 Aluminum Sleeve combines practicality with reliability, making it a valuable addition to your toolkit. With its sturdy construction and thoughtful design, it stands out as an essential component for any building professional or knowledgeable homeowner looking to enhance their projects with confidence.
