Hafele 261.30.031 Rail with Dovetail Groove is engineered for seamless integration in shelf and cabinet constructions. Designed for recess mounting, this aluminum rail measures 3,000 mm in length and is pre-drilled with countersunk holes at 150 mm (5 7/8") intervals, ensuring a straightforward installation process. The tool-less assembly allows for easy dismantling, making adjustments or relocations a breeze. This innovative rail provides solid reinforcing connections, self-reinforcing when multiple shelves are utilized, and stabilizes high and protruding components for enhanced durability. The installation process involves milling a groove of 10.5 x 12 mm (7/16" x 1/2") in the front edge of the shelf, inserting the rail, and securing it with flat countersunk head screws spaced approximately 200 mm (7 7/8") apart. For optimal performance, the push-in resistance can be adjusted via the tightening torque of the dovetail sleeves, with a recommendation of six sleeves per meter. The rail is suitable for wood thickness of 19 mm or greater and is ideal for applications such as double partition fittings and miter joint connections. Special lengths are available upon request, making it a versatile choice for various projects.

Set depth of shelf by tightening the rear sleeve more firmly. Add a depth stop to the structure if necessary. The tighter the dovetail sleeve screws are tightened, the more difficult it is to slide in and remove the shelves.
