Compx Security Products C8042-KD-26D Disc Sliding Door Lock 7/8in is engineered specifically for wood sliding doors, ensuring a secure and reliable solution for your access control needs. This lock requires a 7/8" diameter hole for the cylinder, making installation straightforward for professionals and handy homeowners alike. The C8042 model operates with a push-in cylinder, allowing a key turn to engage the bolt behind the strike, while the C8043 variant locks the doors with a simple push. Both models enable key removal in locked and unlocked positions, adding convenience to the locking mechanism. Keying versatility is a standout feature, as this lock can key together with all other disc tumbler locks utilizing the D8785 key blank. Additionally, it supports master keying with the E41A using the D8783 key blank, providing enhanced security options for multi-access environments. Included with the lock are two keys, a strike, and mounting screws for a complete package. If a trim ring is needed, it can be ordered separately as C2017. • Operation: C8042 push in cylinder, key turn engages bolt behind strike. C8043: pushing in cylinder locks doors. Key removable in both locked and unlocked positions.
• Keying: Will key together with all other disc tumbler locks using D8785 key blank. See table for keying.
