Accurate Lock & Hardware M9159EB.AE-2.75-US10B-RH Electrified Mortise Lock with (REX) Request to Exit Switch offers a modern solution to access control with enhanced flexibility and monitoring features. This motor-driven lock is designed for door stiles of 4 inches or wider, accommodating doors with a minimum thickness of 1 3/8 inches or 1 3/4 inches, depending on the model. With a UL Listing for 3-hour fire rating and Grade 1 Certification under ANSI/BHMA A156.13.2005 standards, this lock ensures superior performance and security. The M9159EB supports universal output voltage and allows for easy switching between Fail Secure and Fail Safe modes to suit various security applications. Key features include a standard backset of 2 1/2", 2 3/4", 3 3/4", 5", or 6", while the key cylinder (by others) provides a manual override to retract the latch bolt. Operating on a 12-24V AC/DC range with a maximum inrush of 250mA, this lock is engineered for efficiency. Special options such as SilentPac™ Quiet Lock compatibility and various knob and lever configurations enhance its versatility. This alternative to the previous generation solenoid version has more flexibility, monitoring features and options for efficient and flexible access control system design. Motor Drive Electrified Mortise Locks feature universal output voltage and can easily be change from Fail Secure to Fail Safe to adapt to design variations.
