SELECT Products Limited SL57-120-CL-HD600 Full Surface Heavy Duty Geared Continuous Hinge is engineered for durability and high performance, supporting doors weighing up to 600 pounds. Crafted from extruded 6063 T6 aluminum alloy, this hinge features self-lubricating polyester thrust bearings, ensuring smooth operation even in high-frequency applications. Available in a standard length of 120 inches, it accommodates nominal door heights with additional options of 83", 85", and 95" lengths. Designed for doors ranging from 1-3/8" to 1-3/4", long barrel nuts can be utilized for thicker doors up to 2-1/4". The SL57 hinge is ideal for high-traffic areas, with a heavy-duty rating specifically formulated for seamless functionality without the need for frame or door reinforcement for weights up to 300 pounds, and for weights up to 600 pounds with appropriate installation. This hinge comes in a clear anodized finish, with options for dark bronze and black anodized aluminum, and custom finishes available upon request. When paired with conventional overhead surface or concealed sliding arm closers, it provides exceptional performance. It's important to note that field-applied finishes may void the warranty, ensuring that the product maintains its integrity over time.

Features:

• Material: Extruded 6063 T6 aluminum alloy with self-lubricating polyester thrust bearings.
• Lengths: 83", 85", 95" and 120" lengths standard for nominal door heights.
• Load/Frequency Rating: For 1-3/8" – 1-3/4" doors standard; long barrel nuts available for 2" – 2-1/4" doors. 48" max. door width in 16 gauge hollow metal (min.) or 1/8" aluminum (min.).
• Heavy Duty 300: For high-frequency doors up to 300lb without frame or door reinforcement.
• Heavy Duty 600: For high-frequency doors up to 600lb. Rivnuts are recommended in the frame when the door exceeds 450lb.
• Finishes: All SL57 hinges are stocked in clear, dark bronze and black anodized aluminum. Custom anodized or painted finishes are available. Product painted or anodized in the field voids the SELECT hinge warranty.
• Closers: Conventional overhead surface, concealed sliding arm overhead or floor closers may be used with hinges. Pivot-type floor closers (with a fixed, conflicting center pivot) must be replaced.
