Security Door Controls 55-C-U Electric Strike for Mortise Locks, 12/24 AC/DC, Fail Safe/Secure, Stainless SteelSecurity Door Controls 55-C-U Electric Strike for Mortise Locks (No Deadbolt) is an essential solution for enhancing access control in high-security environments. This electric strike is designed for compatibility with mortise locksets without deadbolts and ensures reliability with its stainless steel construction, offering corrosion and tamper resistance. With a robust static strength of 2,500 lbs and a dynamic strength of 70 lbs, this strike meets rigorous security demands. The 3/4" latchbolt throw and ability to accommodate up to a 1" deadbolt make it versatile across various applications. The field-selectable operation allows for easy adjustments between fail safe and fail secure modes, while the dual voltage capability (12/24 VDC) adds flexibility for installation. The 55-C-U comes with a stainless steel square corner faceplate measuring 4-7/8" x 1-1/4", fitting standard hollow metal frames without the need for centerline relocation during retrofits. Additionally, features such as horizontal alignment adjustment and optional monitoring contacts ensure precise functionality and feedback. Ideal for professionals looking for a reliable electric strike solution, the Security Door Controls 55-C-U is a perfect blend of strength, durability, and ease of use in access control systems.
Electric Strike for Mortise Locks (No Deadbolt), 12/24 AC/DC, FS Fail Safe/FSE Fail Secure, Latchbolt Position Monitor, Faceplate 4-7/8in x 1-1/4in, 630/US32D Stainless Steel

SDC’s 55 series 3/4" latchbolt electric strikes are heavy duty, designed for installation in hollow metal frames for access control of cylindrical locksets, mortise locksets with or without deadbolts and mortise exit devices. 55 series strikes accept 3/4" throw latchbolts and up to 1" throw deadbolts. The choice of six application faceplates eliminates the need for centerline relocation, making them ideal for new or retrofit, high security access control applications. 55 series strikes retrofit existing ANSI 47/8" strike prep – no centerline relocation required.
