With a standard length of 38" suitable for Dutch doors, it accommodates door openings of 82" for 7' doors. The finger guard is designed to mount on the push side of the door and can support doors that swing up to 180 degrees. NGP 2248A is certified by UL for fire safety, rated for up to 3 hours on metal doors and 1 hour on wood doors, complying with NFPA standards.
