The synthetic EPDM rubber, encased in a polypropylene thermoplastic matrix, ensures exceptional moisture resistance and flame-retardant properties, making it ideal for various commercial applications. This automatic door bottom is BHMA certified to ANSI/BHMA A156.22, passing rigorous performance tests for heat and cold, as well as a 1,000,000 cycle test. Its impressive temperature range of -81°F to 275°F allows it to withstand extreme conditions, while its resistance to ozone, sunlight, and aging ensures it maintains its integrity over time. Measuring 36 inches, it fits wood fire door mortise restrictions and is furnished ½ inch shorter than ordered for a perfect fit. For maximum sealing capability, it’s recommended to use this product with a threshold. The anodized aluminum end caps come standard, with options available for a dark bronze finish. With a maximum drop of ¾ inch, the NGP 423N is an excellent choice for enhancing the functionality and efficiency of commercial restroom doors.
